I edited some code in a tag badge that I found at another blog, and the result is a random, automatically refreshing set of 5 of the most recently uploaded photos on flickr. Take a look, press the "Home" key on your keyboard!

I started this process about 16 hours before taking this screenshot. Ignore the time estimate, it's been that way for 11 or so hours; it must be some kind of safeguard against scaring the crap out of Google Desktop's users, as it was rising at a steady rate of +0.1 hours to the estimate every minute or so.

I'm getting an iPod!

30GB, check it out here: 30GB iPod = $299.99 My current mp3 player can only hold 128MB and has a battery life of about 3-4 hours, not that it could ever store that much time. I can barely fit 4 podcasts in it at once, sometimes 5 Also, I have over $700 and after the 360, will have over $300 left, a perfect amount for the iPod. Actually, I think I may have broken $800, but I'm not completely sure.

Holy crap...I took and uploaded this to flickr yesterday. Today it already has been marked twice as a favorite!

I checked as I regularly do, and saw "2 people count this photo as a favorite"; my heart skipped a beat.

By the way, my Pro account may be less than 20-40 minutes away or less!

I took this photo today and uploaded it to flickr shortly afterwards, and already it is the 16th most-viewed photo in all of the 64 out of 65 photos that are visible to public viewers. It has been viewed (as of the time that I am posting this) 28 times (not counting me, since flickr viewed counters do not count the person who uploaded the file in viewing statistics). The 15th most-viewed photo in all of my photostream is 150_5024, one of the photos taken on the Thanksgiving trip that I took in 2005 to New York City. Overall, I'm very pleased about the general responses that I've been getting about my recently uploaded photos, especially since they are all (so far this month) photos that I have taken in 2006, and I think (but I'm not sure) that (so far) all of my photos that have been uploaded this month were uploaded on either the day or the day aftwerwards that they were taken.

Flickr Pro Account Tomorrow!

At least according to what my Dad just told me, that is. Hopefully in 14-16 hours I will have added at least 10 more photos to my photostream, without even looking at what percentage of my monthly upload limit I've used, or even thinking about the word "bandwidth" ! :D :D :D
