The noob combo?

I say more like the perfect combo. 1) DOES take skill to use 2) Is avoidable (when on the receiving end) 3) It is available in more than one place on almost every map Feel free to comment

The PS3 could be delayed until 2007!

Read the Joystiq article here. This could mean several things: 1) Halo 3's release could be delayed until 2007, since that was originally OR 2) PS3 is going to lose 98% of its fanbase for the Xbox 360, or even *shudder* the Nintendo Revolution (if it comes out before the PS3).

The PS3 Videos were Pre-Rendered

It is beleived that the Sony trailor for Killzone PS3 was prerendered. EvilAvatar agrees, and so does Gamestop Microsoft to Sony: Those are fake! Sony to Microsoft: They're witches, all of them! Gullible Masses: Burn them!

Voice Modulator

Instead of crappy Halo 2 default Voice Masking, I prefer to use my own form of voice modulation. Check out my flickr photostream to see pictures of it

Waterworks

A lot of people overlook the coolness of the Halo 2 map "Waterworks". A Screenshot from Bungie of Waterworks Here's an IGN Video explaining the significance of Waterworks

Custom Game with a modder

I was just in a few modded games of Halo 2 with this 12-year-old (by the sound of it) with the gamertag of XX KILL3R XX. As you can plainly see, he has not been banned from Halo 2 Matchmaking. For some reason (possibly because of the flying tanks and rocket-shooting warthogs) only one game is showing up in Bungie's records. The game that shows up can be found below: Arranged Game on Containment(Permalink) Please note that while I won this game, he was the one that never had to reload. Take a look at how many shots he managed to fire in 15 minutes with no weapons on map and only a sniper rifle (Permalink) I don't think that I would like to meet him in matchmaking.

My Gamercard

Some good news and some bad news. The good news: Xbox.com has updated their "GamerCard" section/feature that shows information about your online activity on Xbox Live. The bad news: There is an age restriction. The other good news: There's this thing called Gmail, which is an acceptable domain for a .NET Passport, the format of logon to Xbox.com The other bad news: I only have my gamertag (Shaymus22) linked to my account in which the age information shows that I am under 18. That is why when you look at my gamercard: It says that my gamertag is "Shaymus22s COPY". The other other good news: With my (Silver Membership) (Free) Gamertag "Shaymus22s COPY" and the corresponding secondary .NET Passport, I can interact with the Xbox.com community just like everyone else. Also, I went to Passport.com and updated the age information for my account that is linked to Shaymus22 (My real gamertag) so that I am now 25, according the .NET Passport information. The other other bad news: I heard from one of the people who commented on MajorNelson's Blog Announcement of the XBox.com Gamercard features that it takes about 24 hours for .NET Passport information to be updated on Microsoft's servers, so I'm not even going to know if this is even going to work until late this afternoon.

MajorNelson

There's a really cool guy, Larry Hryb (or at least I think that's how it's spelled) He's a really cool guy; he works for Microsoft (specifically XBox) and he has a blog: MajorNelson.com He also has a podcast ("blogcast") which he uses to broadcast news about the XBox, the XBox360, and more. The name of the podcast is "Major Nelson Radio", and you can subscribe by clicking the link provided on his website, or on the icon that is a duplicate of the one that can be found on his website: Subscribe with iTunes

Feedburner is sweet

I merged my Recent Games RSS Feed that Bungie provides with an animation provided by Feedburner. Shaymus22's recent games

FIRST POST omg

This is my first post in this blog. Which, of course, is blatantly obvious. From day to day I have various moments of inspiration. My thinking is that maybe if I post them in this blog, one day I can put it all together and I'll have someting sufficiently intellectual to justify the creation of this blog.
